- Please do not leave your keyboard and other personal items unattended.
- Do not leave the meetup area without your keyboard or other property.
- Please respect the property of others and read their keyboard info card before typing on them or picking them up.
- The Keyboard Meetup team will try our best to provide hand sanitizer and napkins/tissues onsite but we also recommend bringing your own!
- If you use hand sanitizer, please ensure your hands are fully dry before handling any keyboards to minimize damage/wear to the finish of the keyboards.
- Please feel free to ask questions to the owner(s) if you’re interested in their keyboard!
- Please only bring your keyboard and case, leave the cables at home!
- Do not remove keycaps, artisans, or parts from keyboards other than your own.
- NO open food and open drinks are allowed in the room.
- Large backpacks/bags must be with you at all times.
- NO unauthorized sales are permitted at this meetup, feel free to exchange contact information and figure that out afterwards!
- There will be OffKai Staff members present in the room so if you have any questions or concerns, feel free to look for us wearing BLACK & WHITE Staff happis.
- Reminder that this is a light and casual event for those who enjoy building boards and those wanting to learn more about the keyboard world.
Tips for traveling with your keyboard!
- If possible, buy and/or use a hardshell case specifically designed for keyboards that corresponds to the size of the board you’re traveling with.
- If you don’t have a hardshell case and have a keyboard sleeve instead, consider wrapping the sleeve/board in a towel when packing it in your suitcase for extra protection.
- Please clean your keyboards before attending the meetup! OffKai Expo does not provide cleaning supplies at the meetup.
- Wipe down the keycaps and keyboard with a microfiber cloth.
- “Canned air” or “air dusters” are recommended for blowing dust and other debris out of your keyboard after removing the keycaps.
