Apply for Programming
Thank you for your interest in hosting a programming event at OffKai Expo 2027! This form can be used to apply for a slot at our Panels, Spotlight Stage, and Activity Stage (formerly Gaming Stage) events. Special Guest selections are considered separately, but you are welcome to apply for a programming event if our Guests Department has not reached out to you.
As a reminder, OffKai Expo 2027 will be held from April 16 – 18, 2027 at the San Jose McEnery Convention Center and San Jose Marriott in San Jose, California. The application opens on November 1st at 5:00pm PT and closes on Sunday, December 6th, 2026 at 11:59pm PT. Selected or waitlisted applicants will be notified in January.
While we cannot guarantee programming slots to everyone who applies, we encourage you to provide as much detail as possible in your application to aid in our screening process. If your application is accepted, we will reach out to you for a complete onboarding process. Please note that we can only host your event if you provide all requested information in a timely manner.
For panelists, OffKai Expo is able to provide 3-day weekend badges at no cost. For events with multiple panelists or performers, please only submit one application per event.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can anyone apply?
Yes. Everyone, either big, small, new or old, has a chance to apply, and each application will be looked at equally.
How many programming events can I appear in?
While we encourage everyone who has something they’d like to share, perform, teach (or more!) to apply, we also want to provide the opportunity for as many presenters as possible to be a part of OffKai Expo’s programming. As such, we will be limiting the number of events applicants may appear in to 2.
Can I pick my room?
Due to limitations, the programming department will determine where your event will best fit. We will work with you to make sure it is at a time you are available.
Will there be a provided presentation computer?
If you need to present content in-person (e.g. a PowerPoint), please plan on bringing your own laptop.
