Meet & Greets

How Meet & Greets Work at OffKai Expo

Meet & Greet tickets will be available through the Event Store. Most tickets will be distributed through a General Lottery; open to anyone who pre-registers for the convention. If you are a VIP badge holder, you will gain access to a Priority Lottery (some guests may be excluded) held prior.

Unclaimed tickets from both lotteries will then be made available for purchase at a later date upon a first-come, first-served basis.

Attendees who secure a Meet and Greet ticket will be able to pick them up with their badge. They cannot be reprinted once issued and are non-transferrable. A staff member will then direct you to the appropriate Meet & Greet line for your guest.

General and Priority lottery opening dates, as well as the First Come First Serve opening date, will be announced closer to the convention on our socials and in the official OffKai Expo Discord server.

General Lottery Info

  • Free to enter; enter as many lotteries as you’d like
  • If you win, you must complete the transaction and purchase your ticket within the designated purchase window
  • Tickets not purchased within the designated purchase window will be released to First Come First Serve sales.

Priority Lottery for VIP Badge Holders

GIGACHAD, Whale, and Supa Rainbow badge holders get access to a priority lottery for select Meet & Greets. The priority lottery is an early access ticketing distribution system with a limited pool of available tickets for each Meet & Greet, available exclusively to our VIP badge holders.

  • GIGACHAD & Whale badge holders get 1 guaranteed Meet & Greet ticket for a guest of their choosing (restrictions apply)
  • More information for the priority lottery coming soon!

Important Notes:

  • Winners will be notified via email
    • Please remember to check your email regularly, including your spam folder!
  • Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable
  • Missed time slots cannot be rescheduled
  • Some guests may not participate in the priority lottery.
  • Each Meet & Greet has a time limit and includes a commemorative postcard (unless noted)
  • ID will be checked prior to all Meet & Greets. Any valid photo ID will be eligible. ID checks will be performed by OffKai Expo Registration staff stationed in the Meet & Greet area.
  • ID checkers will not be present in the room where the Meet & Greet takes place.
  • Any unpurchased tickets from the priority lottery pool will be redistributed in the general lottery.

Conduct and Harassment Policy

  • Please respect the time limit noted for each Meet & Greet.
  • Do not ask the Meet & Greet guest to collaborate, this is a chance to have a fan experience, not a networking opportunity.
  • Do not ask the Meet & Greet guest to reveal information on upcoming events, collaborations, or other unreleased content.
  • Do not make references to other personas or VTubers.
  • Do not ask personal/uncomfortable questions to the guest, or do anything else that could be interpreted as harassment. Please be respectful!
  • Failure to comply with any of the above may result in your badge being revoked or even a permanent ban from the convention.
  • In addition to the above, all attendees participating in Meet & Greets are also subject to the OffKai Expo Attendee Code of Conduct.

Gift Policy

  • Guests are not obligated to accept gifts and acceptance of a gift is not guaranteed. Please refer to the list below to see if a particular guest is accepting gifts as well as if they have any other gift restrictions (i.e. they are only accepting letters, etc.).
  • Gifts are not mandatory, but if you choose to bring one, please keep it appropriate and manageable in size (roughly 12″ x 15″ x 10″ or smaller).
  • Label your gift (i.e. “from: [your name], to: [guest’s name]”) and include a brief message if desired.
  • If a guest is accepting food gifts; ensure it is non-perishable, pre-packaged, and labeled with relevant dietary information. Ensure the food is safe, unexpired, and untampered with. Dubious or suspicious food items will not be accepted.
  • Please do not bring items such as alcohol, marijuana, or similar gifts that may be illegal in other countries or states. These will not be accepted.
  • OffKai reserves the right to reject gifts for any reason including, but not limited to, the aforementioned policies above.
  • Guests who are not participating in Meet & Greets will not be accepting gifts.

Gift Drop-offs

  • If there is a guest who you would like to leave a gift for – but whose Meet & Greet you did not win or were unable to attend – you may drop off gifts for them at the Con Store!
  • Gifts must still follow the gift policies above and must be labelled with the guest’s and your name. Otherwise, they may not be accepted.

Group Policy

  • If a guest accepts groups; individual ticket holders may pool their time together and join at the same time. For example, 3 ticket holders for a Meet & Greet that is 1 minute per ticket can pool together for a 3 minute group Meet & Greet. Every attendee must have a ticket for the Meet & Greet to enter.
  • Meet & Greets can not be attended virtually. OffKai reserves the right to ask potential groups to enter individually or as smaller units for any reason.
  • Exceptions to the group policy can be made for individuals who require accessibility accommodations. To request accommodations, please email accessibility@offkaiexpo.com.

Photo Policy

  • For guests who permit photos; photos will be taken using an attendee’s smartphone or simple point-and-click camera. These photos will be taken with the guest after the full Meet & Greet time is completed. Please do not bring complex photography equipment that cannot be easily handled by our staff such as DSLRs, mirrorless, etc.
